Scale
Main Ingredients
- 12 pack rolls, halved lengthwise (recommend Kings Hawaiian rolls)
- 6 oz package of ham, thinly sliced
- 5 oz package of salami, thinly sliced
- 5 oz package of pepperoni, thinly sliced
- 9 slices provolone cheese
- ⅓ cup pepperoncini, sliced
- ⅓ cup pickled hot cherry peppers, sliced
Butter Mixture
- ¼ cup salted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed (fresh preferred)
To Serve (optional)
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the sliders.
- Assemble Sliders: Lay the bottom halves of the rolls on a baking sheet or pan. Layer evenly with slices of ham, then salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese. Top with sliced pepperoncini and pickled hot cherry peppers, then place the top halves of the rolls on each slider.
- Prepare Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine melted salted butter, Italian seasoning, and crushed garlic cloves. Mix thoroughly to infuse the flavors.
- Brush Sliders: Generously brush the seasoned butter mixture over the tops of the assembled sliders, ensuring all crevices are coated to add flavor and help browning.
- Cover and Bake: Cover the sliders tightly with foil to retain moisture, then bake in the preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes until they turn golden brown.
- Serve: Remove from oven, slice the sliders individually, and serve hot. Optionally, provide a side of marinara sauce for dipping to enhance the flavor experience.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic rather than jarred for the best flavor.
- Kings Hawaiian rolls add a perfect sweetness and softness, but any soft slider rolls can be used.
- Covering with foil while baking keeps the sliders moist and prevents the tops from burning.
- The marinara sauce on the side complements the spicy peppers and savory meats well.
- For extra gooey cheese, add a slice of provolone between each meat layer.
