Description

These Hot Honey Garlic Flatbread Pizzas are a quick and flavorful twist on traditional pizza, combining the sweetness of honey with spicy hot sauce and chili flakes, layered on crispy garlic flatbreads with mozzarella, pepperoni, olives, and jalapeños for a delicious treat that’s perfect for a speedy meal.

  • 80g / 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (Frank’s or Cholula recommended)
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)

Flatbread Pizzas

  • 2 garlic flatbreads (approx. 210g each)
  • 130g / 1/2 cup pizza sauce, or as needed
  • 180g / 2 cups low-moisture mozzarella cheese, or as needed
  • 12 slices pepperoni, or as needed
  • Sliced black olives & fresh jalapeños (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 220C/430F and place the oven tray inside to heat up thoroughly, which helps crisp the flatbread base.
  2. Prepare Hot Honey: In a bowl, combine honey, hot sauce, and chili flakes. Warm gently in the microwave for 10-20 seconds or on the stove until simmering, then stir and allow to cool so the flavors infuse.
  3. Assemble Pizzas: Spread pizza sauce evenly over each garlic flatbread. Top with shredded mozzarella, pepperoni slices, jalapeños, and black olives. Place a few mozzarella pieces on top of pepperoni to prevent curling during baking.
  4. Bake Pizzas: Remove the hot tray from the oven and place the assembled flatbread pizzas on it. Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly charred and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
