Instructions

  2. Add Egg and Vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract and continue beating for another 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: Stir in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and semi-sweet chocolate chips until the dough is fully combined and uniform.
  4. Chill Dough (Optional): Place the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to overnight to firm up for easier handling and better texture in the final cookies.
  5. Prepare Air Fryer: Line the air fryer racks or basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Preheat the air fryer to 325 degrees Fahrenheit if your model requires preheating.
  6. Shape and Air Fry: Scoop 2-tablespoon dough balls and place them in the air fryer basket, spacing them about 1.5 inches apart. Depending on your air fryer size, fit 2 to 4 cookies at a time.
